# I'm seeing an error message in the app

If you're seeing an error message while using the app, please try the following:

1. Force close the app, then reopen it.
2. Check for any available app updates:
    * **Android:** Open the **Google Play Store**.
    * **iPhone/iPad:** Open the **App Store**.
3. Restart your device.
4. Make sure your device has enough available storage space.
5. As a last resort, uninstall and reinstall the app.
    * Your subscription is linked to your Mindfulness.com **account** or your **Apple ID/Google account** (depending on how you subscribed), not the app installation itself, so you won't lose access by reinstalling.
